Bump The Lamp
This video popped up in my YouTube feed the other day, and it seemed relevant after my recent post on quality.
Watching this got me thinking a little more about what has inspired me to do great work. As a film enthusiast and former film student, the work of my favorite filmmakers of my childhood definitely had a significant impact on me. Filmmakers like Spielberg, Zemeckis, and Lucas were a big deal to me when I was growing up, and they were all dedicated to the craft of filmmaking.
This is a great little video on how the team on Roger Rabbit went the extra mile to make a great film, and hopefully you can see how this level of attention can serve all facets of production. I’d love to hear in the comments what you’re doing to “Bump the Lamp.”
