Gobbler
This is primarily for DAW users which wouldn’t have meant much to most sound reinforcement guys a few years ago, but thanks to virtual soundcheck more and more of us are doing multi-track recording these days.
I’ve been playing around with a new piece of software called Gobbler. Gobbler is a means to backing up and transferring DAW sessions via the cloud. I found it because I was looking for a way for clients to send me sessions for mixing since I’m starting to look for some side projects to mix in my spare time. It’s still in beta, but I’ve been very happy with it and using it to back some important sessions up and keep backups while I’m working on things.
Gobbler is currently offering 50GB of storage for free during their beta period, but that offer will expire next week. So if you’re using a DAW, I’d suggest you head over and sign up to check it out for yourself.
