Mixing Without a Recipe
I see a lot of engineers and especially newer engineers get hung up on “recipes” for mixing where they get fixated on using a certain signal chain, but I don’t think mixing should follow a recipe. Here is a recent video I created demonstrating how I work without a recipe to dial in a snare drum.
